Turning on the switch today was exciting to say the least.
It has been a long six and a half months with no electricity but today, we were powered up and got electricity for the first time since Hurricane Maria.
The journey to this day was long but it has arrived. But I can only imagine the time, effort and sacrifice the guys working on restoring power to the entire country must be putting in. Today is Easter Sunday, a day when most are home with family, eating well prepared meals, and we see the crews moving all over, working tirelessly to bring power back to the Nation… and for that I am truly grateful.
So to DOMLEC, and all the other island companies who sent crews in our aid, I say thank you thank thank you. We appreciate your hard work.
yayyyyyyy 💃💃💃💃💃
It actually feels really really nice, being able to have lights in the house without hearing the noise from the generators.
Sooooooo I am having a little “light” party tonight… Knowing that I can keep the lights on till the wee hours and not have to worry about going out to turn off the generator is golden.
Until Next Time Lovies
xoxo
