We took a drive to the airport today to drop off my husband’s best friend. I took the opportunity to take some photos along the way and though there are still signs of destruction, the beauty of the island still remains. It is almost six months since the passage of Hurricane Maria and I was happy to see some trees had started getting their “cloth” back and the green was returning.

The following photos were taken by Fr. Elton Letang during an outing yesterday. These photos are soooo breathtakingly beautiful, it was a pleasure to see that our land is still rich.

Excuse the size of the watermarks on the photos please and thanks.. I swear it looked tiny on my phone when I was putting them in *face palm*… but I wanted to be sure and watermark the photos not taken by me to give proper credit so it’s all good.
