This is it Loves . . . February is here . . .

For most, February brings a lot of excitement and fun things. For us in Dominica it is the month of Carnival so there is a lot to look forward to. Though quite a number of activities have been cancelled post Hurricane Maria, a few still go on. One of those is Calypso. Now I am not a huge fan of calypso and I don’t go to the shows but there are indeed a few very good songs out there and when I hear them I can’t help but try to sing along – the operative word being try hahaha. Hopefully I can share some of those songs with you all in a later post.

February also brings with it Valentine’s Day – the day of love. A day couples “go all out” in demonstration of their love for each other. But should that not be done every single day? Valentine’s day is just one day of the 365 days in the year – love should be celebrated every day and needs no big gesture. . . just my two cents. But I guess on that day “grander” gestures are brought to the fore. Don’t get me wrong, I have no issue with Valentine’s day, but to me, I think it has become more of a commercial day in which merchants make money. What are your thoughts??

But when I think of February the words fearless, faithful and fabulous come to mind. Fearless because going into the month I want to step out and be fearless in accomplishing my plans and pushing to be successful at them no matter what. Faithful knowing that it will all turn out for the best and that with Faith we can move mountains. Fabulous, because with every day I am blessed to see is reason enough to be fabulous – no need for glits or glamour- just plain, simple, fabulousness (if that’s a word)

So we are into month two of 2018. . . Let’s see if it goes by at the same pace as January or will it slow down and just allow us to enjoy every moment.

What about you all . . . What will you all take from January in order to improve and what do you look forward to most as we head into this new month? Let us know in the comments section below..

Until Next Time Lovies
