If you all read the 2018 Hair Goals post you will already be expecting to see this product haul. Walgreens.com, Target.com and Amazon.com were my sites for ordering these items and with the buy one get one half off walgreens had going on when I purchased, that was a very welcomed time to shop
Now let me tell you, I think I am done purchasing products for the year hahaha. I will only purchase what I need to re-stock, but nothing else new ( at least I hope so)
Like I said before, I want to re-introduce a few products into my regimen because I felt like they did well for my hair and honestly don’t even know why I stopped using them.
The main thing I will be re-introducing is the Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Line of products.
This line was the first line I used from Shea Moisture and was quite pleased with the results I got on my hair. The co-wash made my mid-week cowashing sessions so easy and manageable and kept my hair soft before wash day. The curl enhancing smoothie is a must have from that line and I always liked that it kept my hair moisturized.. so much so that it pulled all moisture from the air and I could never have had a defined twist out because it always ended up poofy haha
On my search for a new leave in conditioner.. I decided on purchasing the Cantu and Carol’s Daughter leave in … I also added the Camille Rose almond Jai twisting butter and the Shea Moisture Honey masque – two products I have been wanting to try since forever ago
As you all remember, my daughter is on this journey with me as well. She will also be using the shampoo and condition from the coconut and hibiscus line but I purchased her own cream and detangler for her hair.
Now I have seen so many naturals raving about the Revlon hair dryer that I had to get myself one. I am hoping that it helps with drying my hair in much less time with no damage. That way I will be able to stretch my hair more often during the year.
Ofcourse I had to repurchase the Tresemme Flawless Curls conditioner because you all know that conditioner is bae. And some towels for our hair was a must because those we previously had were destroyed during hurricane Maria.
So there you have it … our natural hair product haul 2018. As time progresses I will be sure to provide feed-back and reviews for the new products as well as those I am re-introducing into my regimen. So stay tuned for that.
